Savage, Juhu is the embodiment of suave elements meshed in together to create a moody & high energy venue. This restrobar was designed & executed over the period of March to June 2019. The venue spans over an area of 2000 sq. ft indoors, 6000 sq. ft outdoors & 2000 sq. ft on the terrace level. The client's preference was centered about using raw & masculine design elements that came together to create a chic setup.
The design firm chose to go with a focus on visualizing the entire space as a European Piazza which historically was public squares & marketplaces.
The outdoor section is of pivotal functional & spatial importance in the layout. This section can also organically transform into an outdoor performance area that can accommodate up to 500 guests at a time.
Street elements, pieces in wrought iron, raw exposed stone, metal & pebbled surfaces layer the entire space with an added texture. The outdoors blend into the indoor section where the ambience is reminiscent of Gothic-inspired structures.
The lighting in the entire project plays a crucial role in many forms like ambient lighting, indirect lighting, cove lighting & wall washers.
The facade is a parametric metal envelope that wraps the elevation in its lattice form, giving the restro-lounge a striking persona.
The entire venue is a collage of textures, materiality & thematic design that tells a story of its own.
