The Food Studio, Malad
The Food Studio, Malad designed by the house of ColabCompany has been conceived at an intrinsic level to cater to individuals across all age brackets. This multicuisine fine dining venue completed in May 2019, is a delight to the visual & culinary palettes alike. The design vibe of the restaurant is an amalgamation of eclectic & casual family-friendly dining ambience.
A variety of seating arrangements ranging from cosy 2-seater table units, to long-running sofas to accommodate a larger group of guests & a private dining room for 30 + guests makes the venue a versatile one in terms of its hosting capacity as per requirement.
Spanning over an area of 2600 square feet, the spatial design of the venue was envisioned as an organised spread of spaces that adheres to a systematic orientation, which has been punctuated with distorted grids on the ceiling surface, composed of a collage of circular discs strewn across varying heights.
The interior scheme is a visual symphony of turquoise blue & copper, interjected by artificial greens to break the overruling texture of the space. Subtle additions of wood add an umber warmth to the volume & bind the space together.
An intriguing coalition of hues, textures & patterns renders the food studio its sense of identity. A space that has a bold design persona & an inviting presence in its context.
